McDonald's knows it for decades and since Bayer AG, Germany's large chemical & healthcare group, published its results from its own analyses a few years ago at least all people in the food industry should know it too: Prepared foods degenerate after 15 minutes and should not be served afterwards! On this page we recommend restaurants we know for years - or months at least. Restaurants providing clean, fresh and tasty foods without asking a fortune. Enjoy your meal!

Micheal Kebab is located at Carrefour's Food Center and prepares fresh Kebab.

Pattaya's most competitive Breakfast get served during 24 hours at Crazy Dave's International Bar & Diner on Soi Chaiyaphoon for a few Baht only. An excellent breakfast and a real bargain with Toast, Butter, Marmalade, Eggs, a Sausage, some Ham, Beans and a large cup of Coffee or Tea.But be warned: The served Thai Food at Dave's isn't to every Thai Lady's taste.
In fact not one of my girlfriends likes it.

In 1988 a Chinese friend discovered the Boat Bakery on Pattaya's 2nd Road, across from Soi Pattayaland. In all that years nothing had changed: Cheap, but tasty Thai & Western food, slow kitchen and the best ice cream you can get in Pattaya - at a fraction of the price you have to pay at other outlets.

The Boat Bakery closes when nightlife in Pattaya starts - at 21:00!

Namchai is my prefered restaurant on Soi Buakhaow. It serves Thai food only, but the food is tasty, the service staff is helpful and the prices are very reasonable. Namchai is across from Soi Buakhaow Night Market - and you can watch at Pattaya's most beautiful girls.

Thai Food, Sea Food, some Western Food, Drinks not included. Ask your Girlfriend, she knows the few Buffet Restarants in Town, or go to Soi 1 to The Fish: The Fish, between 2nd Road and Soi Phettrakun, just after the large Pavilion Massage & Spa building, is my favorit - Baht 199 / person.

Nowadays there are a lot of Pizza outlets in Pattaya, but not all are serving tasty Italian-type pizzas. Many shops prefer to sell some kind of American inspired ketchup-pizzas. One of Pattaya's best pizza you will find at an 'ordinary' food outlet at Pattaya's Beach Road: Pink Lady is the name of the restaurant. It is located between Central Road and Soi 7 and is preparing crispy and tasty italian pizzas at reasonable prices.

A tasty breakfast you can expect at Cool Kitchen, located on Pattaya Central Road at the Beach end of Tops parking lot. The pictured breakfast costs 50 Baht and includes a small fruit juice and coffee or tea. Just what you need to start a happy day. Cool Kitchen serves the breakfast all day long!

Pattaya's most competitive breakfast: Crazy Dave's breakfast for a (ridiculous) 75 Baht. 24-hours a day on Soi Chaiyaphoon, off Soi Buakhaow!
A&W's FishSalad Breakfast costs 101 Baht and includes a cup of pure café.
A&W is located on the 5th floor of Beach Road's CentralFestival and provides some spectacular 180º panoramic views over Pattaya:
From 06:00 to 12:00 the Subway Sandwich outlet at the corner of Soi Diana / Soi Buakhaow serves its Subway Breakfast for 69 Baht only. It includes a breakfast sandwich and a cup of Nescafé.

Tops at Central Road hosts the Cool Kitchen and a few small boothes offering Thai and Western Food. Example:

The always smiling lady really likes cooking all kind of tasty German foods: Fried chicken, pork or sausage(s) with salad and/or french fries or Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes) at very reasonable prices. Her menu card even offers a Curry Wurst. Try it! Update: All the small kitchens at Tops has to close at the end of October 2011. A KFC Chicken outlet will replace them...

Santa Fé has two branches in Pattaya, at CentralCenter (BigC North Pattaya) and at BigC Extra!, formerly known as Carrefour.
Santa Fé prepares Steaks and Salad mostly, for prices between 69 and about 250 Baht. Our prefered dish at Santa Fé is a tasty Filet Mignon for 139 Baht (pork) or 169 Baht (beef).
Santa Fé is preparing all orders fresh. So it's not the fastest, but one of the most friendly and healthiest restaurants in town.
